18.5 hours per week
Hourly Pay Rate:
Minimum wage
General Statement of Duties:
To provide a wide range of technology and services while providing proactive and effective technical support to a diverse customer base. Candidate will be assisting on computer repair, both hardware and software, providing both computer and application support. They will aid in assisting all university staff/faculty/and students in account management and technical issues using our ticketing system. Several times a year they must clean the computers in the different labs across the campus among other tasks given by their direct supervisor. Responsibilities for
Help Desk:
To answer the help desk phone with a professional manner To help faculty, staff, and students with questions in person and over the phone Able to put in help desk tickets Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities for
Laptop Repair:
To repair laptops as needed Help with any laptop and mobile devices questions Maintain a clean environment Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications for
Help Desk:
Experience with Microsoft Office Ability to work with no supervision Ability to multitask
Required Qualifications For Laptop Repair:
Experience with Windows/ macOS Ability to work with no supervision Ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications For Both Areas:
