Job Description:
We are a growing Managed Services Provider hiring a Help Desk Technician Level 2 to support onsite projects, hardware deployments, and client infrastructure work across multiple client environments. This role is ideal for someone with MSP experience who has moved beyond basic help desk support and has strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and hardware deployments. You will focus on racking, stacking, cabling, device installs, and onsite project work while partnering with engineering teams on configuration and handoff. Responsibilities Travel to client sites for onsite project work and infrastructure deployments Rack, stack, cable, and install servers, firewalls, switches, and network devices Support workstation, server, firewall, and network hardware deployments Assist with equipment staging, mounting, labeling, and physical infrastructure setup Work with engineering teams to support configuration, documentation, and project handoffs Troubleshoot basic server, networking, firewall, and virtualization issues during deployments Communicate professionally with clients while onsite Document completed work and keep project timelines on track Required Experience Experience working for a Managed Service Provider 2+ years of IT support, help desk, field support, or infrastructure support experience Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server environments Strong experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or virtualized infrastructure Experience with hardware deployments, cabling, device installs, and racking/stacking Working knowledge of servers, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, and network infrastructure Experience with Dell, HP, Cisco, SonicWall, or similar hardware Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, or Point Ability to work independently at client sites and communicate clearly with clients Benefits 100% company-paid Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance 3 weeks PTO 6 paid holidays 401(k) with 3% company match Company-provided laptop Mileage reimbursement Health savings plan Bonus opportunities
