Part Time PC Technician needed for our information technology consultant/education client in Baltimore City. The Part Time PC Technician will help with wireless access point installations at a college. One to two month contract position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:

Securely mount wireless access points to ceilings, walls, or poles using basic hand and power tools. Input initial settings, configure Wi-Fi names (SSIDs), and apply security passwords using deployment software. Use network testing tools to verify signal strength, optimize coverage, and fix dead zones. Run, diagnose, secure, and organize cabling as needed Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.

Qualifications:

At least three months of wireless point access IT troubleshooting experience is required. A or Network+ certification may substitute some of the experience. Must be able to move equipment and devices campus wide. Must have own vehicle, valid Driver's License and good driving record. Must be able to work from a two to five hour shift between 8:00 am-1:00 pm as needed Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
