We are seeking a Customer Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, supporting operations in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This role requires daily onsite presence and involves providing technical support, hardware and software installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and resolution. Responsibilities Provide L1 and L1.5 level IT technical support to internal and external stakeholders Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues Perform desktop support and hands-on computer imaging and deployment using Windows 10/11 Support computer and mobile device deployments, including iMac environments Manage asset tracking, audiovisual and conference room equipment, printers, and mobility operating systems Follow established processes, procedures, and documentation compliant with internal and customer standards Manage and escalate technical issues appropriately to meet customer expectations Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service while adapting to changing environments Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and moving throughout the workday as needed Maintain health and safety practices in accordance with workplace standards Qualifications Required Ability to work onsite daily within commutable distance of Havre de Grace, Maryland L1 or L1.5 level technical skills in IT support Proficiency in IT desktop support and hands-on computer imaging (Windows 10/11) Experience with computer and mobile device deployments Experience with iMac environments Strong knowledge of asset management, audiovisual and conference room equipment, printers, and mobility operating systems Ability to follow established processes and procedures in an organized manner Clear spoken and written English communication skills Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and move throughout the workday Preferred Experience similar to Best Buy Geek Squad or equivalent technical support environment
