Job Description

Samsung Biologics is looking for a Site IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage and support server and network systems at our overseas site. This role serves as the local IT infrastructure point of contact, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-site servers, network equipment, and related IT infrastructure. The position requires a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Management, monitoring, and maintenance of local server systems (physical and virtual) Configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network equipment (APs, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) Response to user inquiries related to infrastructure and system availability Coordination with global HQ on infrastructure projects, policies, and standards Support for system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security patch management Management of infrastructure solution vendors and service providers Preparation, review, and execution of validation and compliance documentation for infrastructure changes Analysis of user requirements to support infrastructure improvements and process optimization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience with Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols Knowledge of firewall management, VPN, and enterprise security best practices Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GxP, FDA, ISO) is a strong plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $88,275 to $117,700 plus annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
