Job Description

Job Summary:
The IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support to Wilmot employees, focusing on resolving help desk tickets, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring system reliability. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide front-line onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and mobile devices. Facilitate and support employee onboarding/offboarding, including hardware setup and account provisioning. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet connectivity, email, and business applications. Maintain asset inventory and coordinate moves, additions, and changes for hardware and software. Support audio/visual systems for meetings and events. Provide other administrative assistance to support Customer Service, Project Management, and Sales Departments. Maintain Compliance in accordance with all policies and procedures, and Wilmot's Core Values Additional duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science with a minimum of one-year related experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience. Experience with basic networking, Windows support, and Microsoft 365. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical users. Have a solid work ethic that includes doing the right thing, being reliable, trustworthy and honest.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move about the office, operations center, and modular unit environments to install, maintain, or troubleshoot IT equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching may be required. Must be able to lift and carry equipment or packages weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasional use of ladders or crawling under desks may be necessary to access hardware and cabling. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
