This may include help desk support, camera installation, cabling, and other related tasks. This position involves both onsite work and travel to various locations throughout Michigan. Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems using a helpdesk system employing both remote and onsite support. Install and configure "Just Walk Out" technology, including camera systems and cabling, according to established guidelines and specifications. Effectively respond to routine helpdesk inquiries from users and provide basic support with managing user accounts, printing, email, network access, storage, and other system-related questions. Analyze and support computer configurations. Provision new or replacement Windows desktop and laptop computers, including installing and configuring applications, and printers and troubleshooting technical issues. Perform system administration tasks including installation and maintenance of computer applications to support computing needs. Perform technical assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions independently. Create or assist in diagrams of assemblies and systems as needed. Utilize strong computer skills in a Windows 10 or greater environment or earlier for system configuration and maintenance. Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure successful deployment projects. Adhere to training schedules and dispatches as per availability conditions. 1-3 years of related experience with support, installation and servicing IT systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong written/verbal communication skills. Proficiency in working with Windows 10 or earlier operating systems. Willingness and availability to adhere to training schedules and dispatches. Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a related field. Experience providing technical servicing for related technology and/or products or services, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Networking, or similar. Familiarity with setting up and installing computers, networks, cameras, computer hardware, etc. It is not unreasonable to believe that at our current growth rate, compensation could x2 or x3 in a years time. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements. Qualifications (PREFERRED) A degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. (PREFERRED) 1-2 years of experience working in an IT Help Desk or tech support/desktop services unit is preferred. (REQUIRED) Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, domain-based networks, file and print sharing, mail, and application servers. (REQUIRED) Strong grasp of networking concepts. (REQUIRED) Solid understanding of routers, firewalls, switches, VPN devices, and WLAN technologies (REQUIRED) Excellent customer service skills and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Effective time management skills. (REQUIRED)
MUST BE OKAY TO TRAVEL.
We onboard our clients in person. We support clients all over Michigan and will provide on-site support in case of "emergencies". All travel expenses are paid.Job Type:
