IT Systems Specialist SALARY:

RESPONSIBLE TO
IT Director SUMMARY Own reliability, quality, and compliance of core information systems—with emphasis on the EHR. Lead change control and production testing, documentation, and short how-to videos, weekly enablement (two IT training plus weekly EHR/ESP training), and all tech/EHR projects (including
CCBHC/DCO
initiatives and vendor coordination). Serve as the first POC for vendors and perform full systems administration across collaboration, security, intranet, AI/automation, and workforce platforms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the first point of accountability for EHR. Validate all proposed EHR updates against EHI workflows; approve or remediate as needed. Own end-to-end resolution of EHR user issues (triage, root-cause, corrective/preventive action) and administer special access (auditors, sequestered records, etc). Conduct pre- and post-deployment production testing in EHR; maintain authoritative release notes; enforce rollback criteria and change governance. Build and curate a searchable library of EHR change/error documentation to accelerate future diagnosis and correction. Manage the full lifecycle of EHR requests to the PCE Secure team, including scoping, priority, clarifications, timelines, and go-live coordination. Track outcomes to closure and communicate status to leadership and program stakeholders. Provide administrative oversight for all core platforms, including Clinical Notes AI (CNAI), Hubstaff, Phished/ZIM, Google Workspace (security), Google Business, Microsoft 365/Azure, the Intranet (Google Sites), LMS, and time-tracking/workforce tools. Maintain configuration standards, monitoring, and SOPs across the stack. Implement role-based access control (RBAC); execute quarterly access reviews; tune policies with security; lead response for escalations/phishing; maintain audit evidence aligned with HIPAA, CARF, and CCBHC requirements. Publish role-based guides and walkthrough videos; deliver two weekly IT trainings and one weekly EHR training to reduce repeat errors, and standardize best practices. Set and prioritize the enhancement roadmap; evaluate new tools and build business cases; manage vendor SLAs; lead pilots and phased rollouts to measured outcomes. Track SLAs, troubleshoot escalated tickets (Tier 2), training impact, and change success rate; present monthly performance reports and improvement plans to leadership. Coordinate with external vendors and lead the integration of third-party applications. All other duties as deemed necessary
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Proven change/release management: production testing, rollback, release notes. Strong documentation skills (admin guides, SOPs, KB articles) and ability to create short training videos. Experience leading training sessions (enablement sessions, office hours) and improving adoption. Vendor coordination and integration experience (scoping, timelines, go-lives, SLAs). Working knowledge of RBAC/IAM, MFA, and access reviews.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree (ongoing) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 4+ years in systems/applications administration and admin-level experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365. Must have a current driver's license and insurance. Must pass Drug Screening. Must pass all background checks. Must be able to pass the LEIN check.
