Job Description

Summary:
Support the Mitsuba IT infrastructure at AMC including managed users, operations, systems, networks, and resources. Balance cybersecurity protection of assets while providing managed users access to efficient systems all in a complex plant and office environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Help desk support - friendly prompt response to users and issues through resolution of the issue. Must have the ability to keep track of open issues through their resolution utilizing the current AMC ticketing system.
Systems support including:
User computer support: procure, image, deploy, dispose, and support client devices and applications - deploying and supporting Microsoft products and many other business and engineering applications.
Server support:
identifying and investigating business system issues for handoff to a Systems Administrator, Development, or Business Systems Support staff. Device management in Active Directory, Zoho's Endpoint Central and Service Desk Plus. Windows OS imaging. Thin client, wireless scanner, printer, IP Phone, etc. support.
Business systems support:
utilize ticket management to help support any business system issue in the plant, particularly production data collection and labeling or any system issues adversely impacting production.
Network support including:
Local area network support of switches, wireless LAN controller, access points, VLANS and networking of MES OT devices, security, and cabling. Wide area network support including monitoring and ticketing support for high-capacity circuits and troubleshooting DMVPN issues. Knowledge of the AMC firewall solution. Certain business systems support including various CAD applications, IP public address and phone systems, video surveillance system. Cybersecurity support including any computer's Windows Security and security.microsoft.com endpoint protection detection and response. Support network audits and assessments Ability and willingness to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as necessary. Complies with all applicable policies and procedures as required by AMC and Mitsuba Education and/or
Experience:
Related Associate's degree desired; two years related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education, training or experience .
Additional desired experience:
Automotive manufacturing sector experience (knowledge of Automotive OEM systems a plus) International business experience (Japanese or Spanish language skills a plus)
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret computer and software manuals and operating instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in small group activities and one-on-one at the computer user support level.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to create and use the math functions in Excel spreadsheets and similar software. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic computer operating system, and hardware skills and basic network skills are required prerequisites. Must be able to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. Must have good attendance and work performance records. Proficient in general office skills such as typing, filing and answering telephones. Possesses an open-mindedness and willingness to cooperate, learn and work within a multi-cultural team environment. Possess a problem-solving mentality using tact and diplomacy; has a positive, cooperative and flexible attitude; is a self-motivator and able to take initiative. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in job performance, manners and appearance. Possess good grammar, vocabulary, spelling and time management skills.
Physical Demands:
Network infrastructure administration may require the use of scissor or boom lifts to work at the ceiling level. $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
