Role Description The Information Technology Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end users, including installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripherals, and standard software, meeting support, and asset management. The specialist will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, respond to help desk tickets, and escalate complex problems as needed to ensure minimal disruption to mission-critical operations. Additional responsibilities include supporting user account management, assisting with system updates and patches, documenting support activities, and following established IT and cybersecurity procedures. The role involves working closely with other IT team members and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and customer-focused technology support aligned with Agile Defense's mission. Qualifications 100% Onsite, M-F Candidates must posses an active DoD/W Secret Clearance, at a minimum Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, with experience assisting end users in an IT environment. Candidates should possess Troubleshooting abilities for common hardware, software, and network issues. Candidates should possess experience working with Desktop Computers, including setup, configuration, and maintenance. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology principles, including operating systems, basic networking, and security best practices. Security +ce certification, or equivalent is required. Experience supporting users in government, defense, or other highly regulated environments is preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving mission needs. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
