Job Description

Cloud Engineer Position Overview We are seeking an early-career Cloud Engineer to join our architecture and engineering team. This role is designed for a motivated technologist with foundational cloud knowledge who is eager to grow into a full cloud engineering or architecture position. You will work closely with senior architects to comprehend business objectives, generate solutions, conduct proof-of-concept (POC) testing, provide recommendations, and implement cloud-based solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments. This role requires a versatile professional capable of wearing multiple hats to improve delivery, automation, and operational efficiency. Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and leverage automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Security & Compliance:
Support adherence to industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, PCI) by implementing secure configurations and monitoring controls.
Documentation:
Maintain organized technical documentation, including architecture decisions, pipeline configurations, and deployment procedures.
Strategic Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and product specialists to evaluate new technologies and support enterprise architecture reviews.
Performance & Migration:
Assist with performance analysis, workload optimization, and the testing of disaster recovery and migration scenarios.
Systems Integration:
Support the integration of cloud services with existing on-premises technologies (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Dell, Nutanix).
