Rate of Pay:
$20.45•$23.01 Valid Driver's License issued in the US is required. A.A. or A.A.S. in the field or closely related field or its equivalent; 1-3 years' experience in the field or in a related area; or a combination of education and experience Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field is required. Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, data bases and/or data entry, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook is required. Ability to attain gaming identification badge to work in and around Casino property and facilities. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Travel is required to Fond Du Lac locations throughout the day.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal Physical requirements. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally is required. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Responsible for working in a rotation on the Service Desk with other Technical Support specialist staff. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or insuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software. Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems. Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps. Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Performs a variety of IT related tasks. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings and/or meetings. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours support as needed. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
