Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to deliver dependable technical support for employees in a medical devices environment based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving endpoint, access, and productivity issues across both office-based and remote users while working within Microsoft-focused environments. The role combines hands-on desktop support with administration of core user technologies, helping maintain a secure and efficient workplace experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Resolve technical issues submitted through the support queue, providing timely assistance to employees working onsite and remotely.
  • Act as an escalation resource for complex desktop, software, device, and account-related problems that require Level 2 support expertise.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user administration tasks, including account provisioning, permissions updates, and routine service maintenance.
  • Support Exchange Online activities such as mailbox administration, license assignment, and troubleshooting email access issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows endpoints across both newer and legacy operating systems to ensure stable day-to-day performance.
  • Administer user access and policy settings within Active Directory and Group Policy across a multi-domain environment.
  • Perform device imaging, deployment, replacement, and lifecycle support for desktops, laptops, and mobile hardware.
  • Configure and support endpoint security and remote connectivity tools, including multi-factor authentication, identity protection, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Provide support for conference room technology, printers, mobile devices, and other office systems in coordination with broader IT teams.
  • Monitor alerts and assist with higher-level systems administration coverage when additional operational support is needed.
