The Manufacturing IT Support Specialist bridges the gap between our office technology and our factory machinery. You will maintain networks, troubleshoot hardware, and support industrial systems on the factory floor to ensure zero downtime. This is a fully onsite role requiring active movement between the corporate office and the production warehouse.

Core Responsibilities Plant Floor Support:

Troubleshoot computers, touchscreen monitors, barcode scanners, and label printers on the manufacturing floor.

System Maintenance:

Assist engineering teams with network connections for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated machinery.

Software Management:

Provide basic support and troubleshooting for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ERP software.

Network & Connectivity:

Maintain and troubleshoot wired (Ethernet) and wireless networks across a large warehouse space.

Help Desk Support:

Install, configure, and fix employee laptops, workstations, and mobile devices.

User Accounts:

Manage user permissions, emails, and credentials in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

Cybersecurity:

Monitor systems for potential safety threats and ensure data backups run successfully.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

2+ years of IT help desk or technical support experience (experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing is highly preferred).

Network Knowledge:

Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi routing, switches, and running network cables.

Software Skills:

Highly proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing software.

Physical Ability:

Able to stand, walk across the production floor, and lift up to 40 lbs of tech equipment.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills to explain technical fixes to non-technical factory workers.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
