Job Description

St. Peter's Health is seeking a strong, hands-on End User Technical Services Supervisor to help manage our End User Technical Services team. In this role, you will oversee end-user hardware support across the organization while mentoring and developing a team of IT technicians who keep our clinical and operational staff equipped with reliable technology, enabling them to focus on outstanding patient care. The End User Technical Services Supervisor is a hands-on technical leader responsible for supporting and guiding the daily operations of the End User Technical Services function. This role provides advanced technical support while serving as a subject matter expert and informal leader to IT support staff. The Supervisor ensures high-quality end-user support, promotes adherence to IT standards and security practices, and helps drive continuous improvement in service delivery. This position operates as a "player-coach," balancing direct technical work with mentorship, coordination, and process improvement responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT lead supervisor who enjoys both leading people and solving technical challenges in a dynamic healthcare environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
4+ years of progressive experience in IT end-user support, desktop support, or technical services 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience (formal team leadership preferred) Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, Office 365, Active Directory, and end-user devices Experience implementing and enforcing ITIL processes and security policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work diplomatically with all levels of staff Ability to exercise sound judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced environments
Preferred:
Previous healthcare or hospital IT experience Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft, etc.) Experience with asset management tools, device deployment projects, and vendor management Knowledge of clinical applications and medical device integration
