Key Responsibilities Installations & Hardware Projects Perform new store openings and hardware refresh installations, including setup of desktops, printers, point-of-sale systems, peripherals, and network equipment. Ensure all installed systems are properly configured, tested, and documented before returning to service. Maintenance, Repairs & Field Support Travel to store and corporate locations to perform corrective and preventative maintenance on hardware to maintain high service levels. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on desktops, printers, POS systems, and network equipment in a timely manner. Respond to service calls and escalations, including emergency travel when required to restore critical store operations. Maintain equipment reliability through proactive maintenance routines and timely repairs. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working independently at remote store locations for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to travel extensively (70-80%) and participate in a shared on-call rotation with occasional after-hours work for emergencies and time-sensitive maintenance. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues independently. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting retail environments or point-of-sale (POS) systems. Experience with hardware imaging, deployment tools, or standardized rollout processes. Familiarity with multi-site retail or distributed operations support.
