Candidates must have prior experience with Electronics handheld device repair or similar work. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1 to 1.5 years of small electronic assembly experience in previous positions Technical school graduates are encouraged to apply Computer knowledge We need individual have a prior experience with electronics Handheld device repairs Job Responsibilities Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components Identify parts for replacement and determine when machines require new parts Place orders for replacement parts as needed Perform a variety of technical and repair-related tasks Comfortable working with very small parts/tweezers Follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Additional Information May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty May require 2-4 years of related experience Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
