Biesse America is hiring a Technical Services Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC within the Technical Services Department. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for customers and field technicians, providing remote diagnostics, hands-on troubleshooting support, and guidance across complex machinery, software, and connected systems. Be the first line of defense: Provide phone and remote assistance for machine alarms, performance issues, and operational questions.
Get ahead of problems:
Use predictive and preventive maintenance tools to identify and analyze machine failures before they escalate.
Collaborate globally:
Partner with field technicians during installations, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting.
Drive solutions:
Coordinate across internal teams and escalate complex issues when on-site intervention is needed.
Support connected systems:
Work with IoT technologies, including OPCUA, to troubleshoot machine connectivity and communication.
Contribute to quality:
Assist in programming and testing electrical components before machines are shipped.
Keep systems running:
Perform PC hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows support, and networking diagnostics.
Improve continuously:
Document issues, link alarms to service tickets, and help refine knowledge systems.
Grow your expertise:
Participate in training and stay current with evolving technologies. What We're Looking Foundational knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams Strong analytical thinking and communication skills Experience with industrial automation or machine troubleshooting (preferred) Familiarity with IoT systems or industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPCUA) a plus Exposure to CAD/CAM tools is helpful but not required Comfort working with PC hardware, software, and networking environments
