The Junior IT Specialist will provide IT support for JSOC and the subordinate commands. This is an entry-level professional who supports IT systems, troubleshoots technical issues, and assists with software and hardware maintenance. Assist users with technical problems, maintain network security, and ensure systems run smoothly. This role may also involve installing updates, managing IT documentation, supporting AV system operations, and working under senior specialists to develop technical skills.
Requirements:
TS/SCI security clearance Security + certification High School Diploma US Citizen Maintain a valid driver's license Must be insurable Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds Must be able to work in high places and in small cramped places Must be able to work in hot humid places as well as cold places Must be able to maintain the following attributes while under pressure from deadlines: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus and attention to detail Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities Work sites vary from finished executive boardrooms to new construction sites. Majority of work is indoors, but site conditions vary drastically. Appropriate dress is required pursuant to the dress-code found within the Employee Handbook.
