Job Description

Job Summary :
Responsible for first level support and maintenance of PCs, laptops, printers and related peripheral equipment and timely response to end user problem calls. Install, diagnose, repair, upgrade and maintain all PC related hardware and software to insure optimal workstation performance. Responsible for troubleshooting problems in a timely, professional and efficient manner, providing end-user training and education as needed. Responsible for receiving and logging trouble calls and for resolving or dispatching them to second-level resources in a timely manner. Document problem resolution and evaluate trends in order to prevent future problems.
Qualifications:
Associate''s degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. At least one year experience in microcomputer support and hardware troubleshooting preferred. Experience in installation, training and support of PC based office automation applications including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess current technical knowledge of personal computers and related peripherals, PC hardware components, operating systems, management utilities and applications. A+ and MCP certification preferred. Good interpersonal communication skills and customer service orientation required. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
