Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about technology and ready to turn that interest into a career? We're seeking motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the IT field. This entry-level role provides comprehensive hands-on training, mentorship from seasoned technicians, and a clear pathway to advance your technical skills. Whether you're self-taught, recently certified, or transitioning from retail/customer service/military service, we'll provide the tools and support you need to succeed. Join our team to build a foundation in IT infrastructure while solving real-world problems in a collaborative, judgment-free environment. What You'll Learn & Do (We don't expect you to know everything on day one. Here's what you'll master with our support:)
Hardware & Systems:
Learn to install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Network Fundamentals:
Gain hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting under guided supervision
Support Tools:
Become proficient with industry-standard ticketing platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy (training provided)
Customer Service Excellence:
Develop communication skills by assisting end-users at all levels, turning technical jargon into friendly solutions
Security Awareness:
Learn organizational security protocols and best practices for protecting data and infrastructure
Documentation:
Master the art of clear technical writing by logging support requests and creating user-friendly guides What We're Looking For (Not a checklist - you don't need all of these)
Curiosity:
Genuine interest in computers, networks, or technology (hobbyists welcome!)
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to troubleshoot logically, even if you've only done it for family/friends so far
Communication Skills:
Comfortable talking to people and explaining concepts simply; prior customer service experience is a plus
Reliability:
Strong work ethic and eagerness to show up ready to learn
Basic Comfort:
Familiarity with Windows or macOS as an end-user; any hands-on experience building PCs, home networks, or helping others with tech issues is valuable
Growth Orientation:
Desire to earn certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) and build a long-term career Bonus Points (Not Required): Coursework in IT, Computer Science, or related field Military technical training or veteran status Experience in retail, hospitality, or any role requiring patience and user support Training & Development 90-
Day Onboarding:
Structured training program pairing you with senior technicians
Certification Support:
Financial assistance for CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ exams after 6 months
Shadowing Opportunities:
Rotate through Network, Security, and Systems teams to find your passion area
Career Pathing:
