///W2 Contract ONSITE position in Princeton IN area/// An international IT service & solutions provider is seeking a technically skilled Plant IT Engineer who has strong kills in OT Network Engineering in manufacturing environment in Liberty NC area to ensure stability, reliability, and high performance across our mission-critical network solution. Main Responsibilities; Lead the deployment and adoption of OT network infrastructure , supporting reliable and secure manufacturing operations. Design and implement secure, resilient OT network architectures aligned with operational and business requirements. Integrate OT cybersecurity principles into network solutions, including network segmentation, IDMZ , access controls, and secure connectivity. Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex network incidents, coordinating resolution across internal teams and external vendors. Establish and maintain OT network standards, implementation practices, and technical documentation . Mentor and train local IT teams and operational staff on OT networking fundamentals, standards, and troubleshooting. Support project planning, network cutovers, maintenance activities, and operational readiness for OT initiatives. Partner with engineering, operations, IT, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to translate production requirements into scalable and effective network solutions. Technical Requirements; Enterprise LAN/WAN networks OT / industrial network environments Network segmentation and secure network design IDMZ architecture Firewalls and secure connectivity VLANs, routing, switching, and redundancy Network monitoring and troubleshooting Wireless networking in industrial or manufacturing settings High availability network design Support for plant-floor, automation, and edge-connected systems Industrial network connectivity and protocols

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience , including experience supporting OT, industrial, or manufacturing network environments. Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, network architecture, and secure network design . Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in high-availability, business-critical environments . Experience supporting network deployments, maintenance windows, cutovers, and ongoing operational activities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across IT, engineering, operations, and plant teams . Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to local IT support personnel and operational teams. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to independently drive tasks and projects through completion. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor environments . Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles , including IDMZ, network segmentation, and secure access strategies. Experience with automation, controls, or industrial systems networking . Experience supporting large-scale OT network deployments, plant expansions, or modernization initiatives . Experience partnering with production engineering, maintenance, controls, and operations teams. Experience developing OT network standards, deployment procedures, technical documentation, or architecture guidelines . Relevant networking or cybersecurity certifications such as

CCNA, CCNP, CISSP

, or equivalent credentials. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed.
