Job purpose The IT Support Technician is responsible for ownership of their client portfolios by maintaining the integrity of their client's networks and fostering strong relationships with the client team. The IT Support Technician' role will provide high-quality service to clients both remotely and onsite, will be responsible for troubleshooting network and system related issues and will keep clients informed of progress and status of current requests. The IT Support Technician will provide and demonstrate high levels of customer service and ensure client satisfaction. IT Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining and accurately documenting all work within service tickets, as well as technical documentation for the office and their equipment. Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot supported Windows operating systems (currently Windows 10 and Windows 11) and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and managing routers, switches, Firewall policies, configurations, and management

  • Install, configure, and support enterprise applications
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, desktop computers, laptops, and other authorized peripheral devices
  • Provide foundational support for macOS environments to assist users of Apple devices
  • Provide IT Support relating to issues with internal systems and network infrastructures.
  • Provide support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange etc.
  • Provide support services for virtualization technologies with VMware.
  • Provide technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and stitching.
  • Provide support for disaster recovery solutions.
  • Provide remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, etc.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers to ensure continued operational reliability.
  • Conduct remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripheral equipment
  • Support mobile device management (MDM) for iOS and Android devices within the enterprise environment
  • Support issues related to internal and network infrastructure, Virtualization Services with VMware, support services for Microsoft Related Technologies, Remote Access Solutions, and Network Level Support for
LAN/WAN/WLAN
  • Proactive monitoring of alerts, patch management, health checks, administration/maintenance of remote monitoring systems, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Work with Clients and Team to complete Support Tickets
  • Assist special projects team for client deployments
  • Provide onsite and remote assistance
  • Provide verbal and/or written training sessions/documents such as "how to" guides for troubleshooting and/or user guides for our internal Teams and external Clients
  • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in computer science, a related field, or related experience
  • Two years of experience with desktop and/or IT helpdesk
  • 3-5 years of experience in a System Administrator or comparable role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Develop and update documentation for IT processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must have a valid driver's license, consistent transportation, and an insured vehicle as onsite support is required.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May require bending, kneeling, or crouching to install or service equipment.
  • May be required to travel to or work at multiple organizational sites or client locations.

      Work Schedule:
      • Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

          • 3+ years' experience with Windows Server Operating systems or equivalent work experience

          • 3+ years' Experience with Microsoft Office, Internet Browsers, Mobile applications or equivalent work experience
          • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Disaster Recovery Configuration, and VMware or equivalent work experience
          • 3+ years' experience with LANs/WANs/WLANs or equivalent work experience
          • 3+ years' experience with routers, switches, firewall policies, configurations, and management or equivalent work experience
          • 3+ years' experience with Network Security, Disaster Recovery, Configuration, and DNS Configurations or equivalent work experience
          • 3+ years' experience Customer Service (IT related field preferred) or equivalent work experience
