Job Description

Computer Systems Inc. is one of Omaha's oldest information technology companies and one of the nation's longest-running Managed Service Providers. We have supported businesses since 1982 and have operated as an MSP since 1999. We are looking for an entry-level IT Support Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in information technology. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a willingness to learn. This position primarily provides client support by phone and remote support tools, with some onsite client work required. Responsibilities Provide technical support to clients by phone, remote support, and onsite visits Install and configure PCs, printers, and other hardware Troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft 365 related issues Take ownership of support tickets through resolution Respond to client requests with urgency and professionalism Maintain accurate ticket documentation Communicate clearly with clients and team members Technical Requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications Basic understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft environments is a plus VoIP experience is a plus What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated and dependable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of urgency and accountability Willingness to learn and grow technical skills Team-oriented mindset
