1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Job Summary We are seeking a System Repair Technician to support the evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of returned electronic and mechanical products. This role will be responsible for accurately diagnosing products, completing repairs when appropriate, maintaining repair documentation, and keeping the work area and replacement parts inventory organized. Responsibilities Prioritize repair activities based on current and older product inventory, customer needs, and the queue of returned products awaiting evaluation. Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on mechanical and electronic equipment, including controllers and other components as needed. Determine whether products should be repaired, scrapped, or accepted as-is following diagnostic testing and root-cause analysis. Prepare itemized documentation for completed repair work. Accurately update customer and repair records according to established procedures. Research equipment specifications, test procedures, diagnostic information, manuals, and other documentation needed to evaluate and process products. Perform hardware and software configurations as needed. Catalog and maintain inventory of products returned for repair while keeping the work area clean, organized, and efficient. Maintain an inventory of standard replacement parts and submit purchase requests to ensure appropriate stock levels. Lead standard and project-specific work groups as needed. Follow all safety and ESD procedures to protect both employees and equipment. Work toward established individual and team performance goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous electronics testing experience preferred. General understanding of computer repair and assembly. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, wiring schematics, procedure manuals, and related technical documentation. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to computer hardware and/or software. #CNX100
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
