Salem, NH Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications Operating systems Computer hardware IT Full Job Description We are seeking candidates for IT Product Repair Technician with knowledge of consumer electronic products (such as Laptops, Desktops, gaming consoles, Kitchen Electronics) RMA repairing to join our team in Salem, NH. The ideal candidate can quickly and accurately diagnose technological issues and create robust solutions for the devices and improve the process of assessing, testing, and repairing electronic devices and smart devices. In addition, customer service is part of this role to solve the issues.
What You Will Do:
Assemble computer parts as needed. Examine the products in time. Conduct diagnosis of problems according to customer complains. Determine details of equipment problems. Disassemble machines to examine parts. Utilize tools and technologies to maintain devices at optimal operating levels and perform repairing to diagnosed problem such as computer processors, hard drive, monitors and operating system. Communicate with or conducts rework to ensure successful and efficient repair of units. Repair laptop or desktop units according to the requirements. Reassemble machines after repairing or replacing parts. Analyze equipment performance and assess equipment functions. Clean or adjust mechanical parts to maintain machines operating efficiency and prevent breakdowns or repeat return for repairing. Install and configure new equipment including operating system software or peripheral equipment as required. Read and research specifications, such as blueprints, charts, or schematics, to determine machine settings or adjustments. Maintain repair parts inventory and submit request for any additional parts needed for repairing. Work with Marketing team to sell the used returns Re-installs software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctions. Perform data backup if it is needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Analytical Skills:
Computer repair technologies needed. Be able to solve issues that might not have a clear solution. Being able to experiment and use trial and error is important.
IT Skills:
Using diagnostic tools to assess or monitor computer systems requires knowledge of IT skills.
Troubleshooting:
Computer repair technologies must be able to diagnose, repair and test computer problems as they arise.
Computer skills:
Be able to reinstall operation system and hardware drivers.
Network skills:
Be able to test device network connection including Wi-Fi set up and diagnostics. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs.
