Role:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Junior IT Field Technician to join our team and support customer sites across the United States. This role involves frequent travel to perform onsite technical work, including site surveys, new customer onboarding, and hardware swaps. As a Junior member, you'll be part of a team ensuring smooth deployments and high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
Provide entry-level technical support and on-site "remote hands" IT services to clients Travel to customer locations across the U.S. to perform onsite IT work Assist team in site surveys for network, Wi-Fi, and infrastructure Assist team in Onboarding new customers by setting up and validating required hardware Swap, replace, or upgrade PCs, laptops, and peripheral equipment Document work performed, including photos, notes, and inventory Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Escalate any up-level troubleshooting to technical lead as needed
Required Qualifications:
Understanding of basics of IT support operations like PC hardware and peripherals support Ability to read and follow diagrams, floor plans, and deployment documentation Comfort working in a team in the field and submitting daily reports to the lead Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently (including flights) Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work on ladders when needed
Preferred Skills:
Not required will train - familiarity with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for IT services Not required will train - field service, or any project deployment experience Basic understanding of what role IT plays in an organization Detail-oriented and reliable with a customer-first mindset
