A Help Desk Technician or Analyst provides technical support to computer users. Handles customer inquiries and works to resolve technical issues with computer hardware, software or networks. Provides customer support by phone, email, live chat or with screen sharing. May refer customers with complex system or application problems for more advanced technical support. Tracks help requests using a ticketing system.

Job Description
The right candidate should have:
Previous Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience Strong Windows troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Basic understanding of networking concepts includingDNS, DHCP, IP
addressing, and Wi-Fi Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities Ability to explain technical problems to non-technical users A willingness to learn and take on increasingly challenging technical work Even Better If You Have Previous Managed Service Provider, MSP, experience Active Directory or Entra ID experience Microsoft 365 administration experience Firewall, switch, or wireless troubleshooting experience Remote monitoring and management, RMM, experience CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications Certifications are a plus, but real-world troubleshooting ability, attitude, and willingness to learn are more important.
