Information Technology Full Job Description Description:
The Junior Help Desk Technician supports end users across multiple office locations, building a strong foundation in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. this is an entry level position, open to recent graduates.Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve help desk tickets via phone, email, and in-person in a timely manner Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices Travel between two office locations on a regular basis to provide on-site technical support Assist with onboarding new employees, including workstation setup and account provisioning Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory and other systems Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when appropriate Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the help desk ticketing system Provide basic training and guidance to end users regarding software and hardware Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an IT, Computer Science, or related program Basic knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for inter-office travel Nice to Have CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, or similar certification (in progress or completed) Any prior help desk, IT support, or customer service experience Experience with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshdesk)Working Conditions Environment:
Primarily indoor office setting, with standard office equipment.Physical Demands:
