Salary:
$85,000 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to support onsite and remote employees in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues. This position reports to the IT Infrastructure Services Manager with guidance from the system administration team. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to onsite and remote users for desktop hardware, software, and related systems Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, printers, handheld Android scanners, and VOIP phones Perform employee workstation setups and moves, including desktops, monitors, printers, and peripherals (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work under desks as needed) Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including user provisioning and deprovisioning in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VOIP systems, and other platforms Support and resolve issues related to Windows 10 and standard enterprise applications Assist with IT deployments, infrastructure projects, and general technology initiatives Support basic network troubleshooting, including WiFi, VPN, and connectivity issues Participate in after-hours on-call and weekend rotation schedules Work extended hours during peak retail/holiday periods as needed Travel occasionally between retail store locations when required Take ownership of assigned issues and independently research and resolve technical problems Required Skills & Experience Strong experience installing, upgrading, and repairing desktop and laptop systems Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10 environments Experience with Active Directory user and group administration Microsoft 365 administration (user management, email, SharePoint, Office applications) Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices (Zebra handheld scanners a plus) Knowledge of basic networking concepts including WiFi and VPN troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting printers and enterprise print environments Experience in retail or multi-site support environments Mac OS X support experience No visa sponsorship available at this time #IND123
