Security Specialist II

We are seeking a Security Solutions Specialist II to lead the planning, configuration, and execution of advanced security system installations. This role is responsible for high-level system programming, technical oversight, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Security Specialist II operates with a high degree of independence, serves as a technical resource to internal teams, and plays a key role in troubleshooting, system optimization, and client support.

Pay Range:

65k-75k/Annually APPLY Essential Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities Lead system configuration, programming, and integration for access control, CCTV/VMS, and intrusion systems Review project documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate system setup Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installation and post-installation phases Support and guide field technicians with programming and technical challenges Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to ensure project alignment and timelines are met Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation to ensure proper functionality Maintain accurate system documentation, including configurations and as-built updates Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, providing support and system guidance Identify system improvements and recommend enhancements based on performance and client needs Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms such as LenelS2 and/or Software House CCURE preferred Strong experience working with moderate to advanced security system environments Ability to independently configure, program, and troubleshoot integrated security systems Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise-level deployments Strong understanding of networking concepts and system integrations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system diagrams Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements & Work Environment Virginia DCJS Security Technician and Locksmith certifications required Industry certifications preferred, including LenelS2, Software House C•CURE, Milestone, Gallagher, and Honeywell
