Job Description
We're hiring an IT Systems Support Specialist to support a multi-location medical practice. This role goes beyond basic help desk work—you'll troubleshoot real-world issues across desktops, thin clients, Remote Desktop (RDS), printers, and network connectivity, while taking ownership of problems from start to finish. If you're someone who likes figuring things out, staying hands-on, and being the go-to person when systems need to work, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Provide front-line IT support (in person, phone, email) across multiple locations
Troubleshoot:
Windows PCs, laptops, and thin clients Remote Desktop (RDS) sessions and login issues Printers (including mapped and redirected printers) Mobile devices and peripherals Investigate recurring issues and identify root causes Set up and manage user accounts, devices, and access (Active Directory) Handle onboarding and offboarding tasks Assist with basic network troubleshooting (IP, connectivity, VPN) Work with vendors when needed (gather info, test fixes, validate results) Document work clearly in the ticketing system What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Work in an environment where your impact is immediate and meaningful Gain hands-on experience with RDS, networking, and multi-site systems Collaborate closely with experienced IT leadership Opportunity to grow into a Systems Administrator role Requirements 2-5 years of IT support experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or similar) Strong knowledge of: Windows OS Active Directory (user and access management) Basic networking (IP addressing, connectivity troubleshooting) Experience troubleshooting printers and endpoint devices Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues Strong communication skills with non-technical users Preferred (Not Required) Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or virtual desktop environments Experience with thin clients (Wyse, 10Zig, etc.) Basic PowerShell knowledge Healthcare or EMR/EHR experience (e.g., eClinicalWorks) CompTIA A+ or Network+Pay:
