Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated individual to perform a variety of skilled and technical duties related to the maintenance of our company's computer equipment. He or she will be responsible for the maintenance of all terminals and peripherals including printers, modems, and personal computers,
Duties/Responsibilities:
Diagnose hardware and operating system problems and repair. Move equipment to new locations as requested; re-route and install cables for new location; test system to assure proper operation. Assist users with access to wireless network, VOIP telephony, and access to other network services. Clean computer equipment and peripherals. Assists with other technology problems and equipment operations when possible. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Responsible for hardware inventory. Communicate with external support. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Associate's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent. Minimum of one year experience in key functions listed, active participation in IT support. Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft 365. Familiarity with active directory. Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals. Ability to write reports and correspondence consistent with the duties of this position. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries, and/or complaints. Ability to learn and utilize office equipment, computers, and software especially as systems are upgraded. Maintain appropriate confidentiality. Excellent computer and keyboarding skills. Preferred Qualifications/Skills Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and driven to meet deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Ability to work in a high paced work environment, balance multiple demands at one time, work with frequent interruptions, and perform duties and tasks at expected levels of professionalism. Ability to use independent judgment and demonstrate initiative to act without being asked. Demonstrate patience, tact, and understanding with non-technical users. Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
Additional Information:
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on company needs. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance is not available. Background checks required. $20.00-$25.00 non-exempt hourly wage.
