About us Jamestown Area Community FCU is a Community Credit Union in Jamestown, NY. We seek to provide a wide variety of financial services at the lowest possible cost to our members and to support the community and the Credit Unions in our area with the philosophy of: "It's my credit union; it belongs to me." Job Description Jamestown Area Community FCU is looking for an IT Assistant to join our team located in Jamestown, NY. The IT Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support to our members and employees and assist with the administration of the network and servers. This position will work closely with the IT Manager including training. Qualifications Training in Computer Science or related field 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role Strong computer skills, including knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities Provide technical support on issues related to hardware, software, network, hardware connectivity issues, etc. Provide assistance to members with IT related problems, typically through phone Communicate with vendors through phone, email, and in person Order supplies and maintain inventory Review logs and fix IT related problems as they occur Provide data requested for audits and various other needs Maintain full compliance with federal and state regulations
