Our client, a global IT services firm, is seeking a Windows/MAC IT Desktop Support, Incident Technician to join their team in New York, NY! Required Qualifications:
3+ years of deskside support experience supporting both MAC and Windows PCs, with a strong focus on MAC expertise. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues efficiently. Must have hands on experience with Intune, SCCM (MECM), JAMF, and remote tool (N-Able, Bomgar, etc.). Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, patch management, and device asset tracking. Solid knowledge of desktop hardware break/fix, software diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with support tools such as WebEx, Jabber, and ticketing systems. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and incidents simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist end users. Must be able to work onsite five days a week; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. required; sponsorship not available. Ability to participate in rotating on-call support, including after-hours and weekends. Active engagement in ongoing training to stay current with evolving technology. Experience supporting remote connections and virtual machine setups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferably with a background in financial services or brokerage environments. Experience supporting hardware inventory, shipping & receiving, and asset management. Knowledge of endpoint security and patch deployment processes. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
Pay Rate:
$28/hr - $30/hr
