Long Island, NY Full-Time About the Role We are a fast-growing Long Island-based Managed Services Provider (MSP) seeking a motivated Level 1/2 Help Desk Technician to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technology, learning new systems, and working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment. You will provide day-to-day technical support, perform onsite and remote troubleshooting, assist with infrastructure projects, and gain hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies. What You'll Do Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and onsite visits Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including: Exchange Online Microsoft Teams Point Online Intune Perform basic networking tasks and troubleshooting, including: VLAN configuration and support DHCP and DNS troubleshooting Firewall and router diagnostics Wi-Fi deployment and support Configure and deploy new user workstations, hardware, software, and user accounts Document support tickets, resolutions, and client environments accurately Assist with technology projects such as migrations, upgrades, hardware rollouts, and cloud implementations Deliver professional, customer-focused service during onsite client visits Escalate advanced technical issues to senior engineers when appropriate What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 1-3 years of Help Desk, Technical Support, or MSP experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, switches, firewalls, DHCP, and DNS Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments Familiarity with Active Directory and common business applications Ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and software issues Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to local client sites Preferred Qualifications Experience working with MSP RMM and PSA platforms Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Exposure to backup and disaster recovery solutions Experience supporting VoIP systems Knowledge of endpoint security and cybersecurity tools
