- $27 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Operating systems Technical documentation Computer hardware ServiceNow IT Full Job Description Well Known Investment Bank located in Manhattan, New York is seeking a highly motivated, experience Computer Desktop/Helpdesk Support Specialist to join their internal IT team immediately during shifts either 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Job Overview:
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to the bank's employees, ensuring their computer systems. printers & software are functioning properly. This is a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the bank. Troubleshooting AD logins, password resets, Window updates, cloning machines, O365 (word, Excel and Outlook), troubleshooting remote client issues, etc.Duties:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups
- Document technical procedures and create user guides
Experience:
- Proven experience in IT Desktop support
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
Pay:
$24.00- $27.
