Job Description We are seeking a highly capable IT Support Specialist to join a fast-moving environment on an immediate contract basis. This role combines hands-on technical support, workplace technology enablement, and operational support during a critical office transition period. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly independent, and comfortable working across helpdesk support, systems administration tasks, and light project ownership. In addition to strong core IT fundamentals, this role requires practical, hands-on AI fluency—using modern tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot to streamline support, documentation, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:
IT Support & Helpdesk Operations Provide daily IT support across hardware, software, and connectivity issues Triage, document, and resolve end-user tickets in the helpdesk system Prioritize requests, manage SLAs, and escalate when appropriate Support Zoom meetings, AV setups, and conference room technology Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including O365 and Active Directory provisioning Office Move & Device Readiness Support Inventory, stage, and validate laptops, peripherals, docks, and AV equipment Identify and document setup issues and ensure timely resolution tracking Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on equipment readiness and logistics Independent Project Ownership Take loosely defined tasks and independently structure execution plans Provide proactive updates without needing follow-up Create knowledge base articles, help guides, and process documentation AI & Technology Enablement Apply AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to improve IT workflows and productivity Assist with AI-related documentation, internal guidance, and process optimization Help identify opportunities to integrate AI into support and operational tasks Ongoing IT Operations Apply Windows patches according to schedule and best practices Monitor system alerts and perform proactive maintenance Manage IT inventory, including check-in/check-out and procurement coordination Collaborate with vendors to ensure continuous operational stability
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar technical roles Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Azure AD / Entra ID, user management) Familiarity with core enterprise tools such as O365, Box, Zoom, Notion, and Salesforce Practical AI fluency — demonstrated real-world use of tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot for daily work (not theoretical knowledge) Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to identify root causes and resolve independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to support both technical and non-technical users Strong judgment: knows when to escalate and when to resolve independently Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, desktop support, and AV/conferencing systems Highly self-directed, reliable, and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end Strong customer service orientation and professional presence If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
