Desktop Support Specialist TEKsystems $22.00 - $25.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, York, Syracuse May 15, 2026 Overview We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance to end users. This role focuses on supporting hardware, software, and user access issues while delivering a strong customer support experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user devices and workplace technology
• Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues
• Support user accounts, access requests, and general IT inquiries
• Coordinate with vendors or onsite technicians as needed
• Track and document work using an IT ticketing system
• Create and maintain basic documentation and knowledge resources
• Partner with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently Qualifications
• Experience in a desktop support, help desk, or IT support role
• Familiarity with user account management and common workplace technology
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a ticket-based support environment
• Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
