This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and working closely with end users in a fast-paced technical environment. The IT Helpdesk Technician will provide first-level support across macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu systems while assisting with user administration, device setup, Microsoft 365 support, and IT security best practices. Responsibilities Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, software, connectivity, and user access issues Support macOS, Windows 10, and Ubuntu desktops and laptops Assist users with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Office apps, and licensing Support engineering/development software issues, including licensing Manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Assist with onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and equipment setup Support Windows Server environments and shared resources as needed Assist with device compliance, policy enforcement, and application management through Microsoft Intune or similar MDM/MAM platforms Maintain documentation of common issues, procedures, and resolutions Partner with IT security staff to follow internal security protocols and support compliance efforts Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical staff when appropriate Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical updates, maintenance, or business continuity needs Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field and 1+ year of relevant experience, or 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience Experience in a helpdesk or ticket-based support environment Working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu operating systems Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 administration Experience with Microsoft Intune or a similar device management platform preferred Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC frameworks preferred but not required Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a technical environment Compensation and Benefits This direct hire opportunity offers $23
