This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving workstation issues, maintaining end-user equipment, and delivering reliable day-to-day IT support. The role focuses on desktop deployment, troubleshooting, and hardware service while partnering with other IT teams to keep business users productive.
Responsibilities:
Deliver deskside support for employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and workstation-related issues. Configure, deploy, and upgrade Windows PCs and laptops using approved tools, standard builds, and company procedures. Support common business applications, including Microsoft Office, and assist users with routine software problems. Maintain clear technical records and create practical documentation for installations, troubleshooting steps, and support activities. Perform repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance for desktops and other assigned IT equipment. Assist with inventory tracking, device provisioning, and the distribution of computer hardware and related accessories. Coordinate with technical support and other IT teams to identify performance concerns and restore stable system operation. Set up and monitor IT equipment connected to data center or infrastructure environments as needed. Recommend improvements that enhance end-user technology performance and support the rollout of new solutions. High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred. At least 2 years of recent experience supporting Windows-based and Mac-based computers. Working knowledge of desktop hardware, workstation support, and break/fix troubleshooting. Experience with Active Directory in a user support environment. Familiarity with Windows 10 administration and desktop imaging processes. Ability to document technical issues clearly and communicate effectively with end users and internal IT teams.
