IT Specialist (Independent Contractor) Compass Integration LLC , a premier provider of Information Technology solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated Independent Contractor to fill a full-time IT Specialist position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in networking and telecommunications , along with experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 environments. This position requires excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 services and related technologies. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Perform onsite and remote technical support for clients. Configure and support routers, switches, wireless networks, and related equipment. Document work performed, maintain service records, and provide status updates as required. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours, weekend, and emergency support. Travel to client locations within the assigned service area. QualificationsRequired Background in networking and telecommunications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to travel within a two-hour radius of Chillicothe. Preferred CompTIA Network+ certification. Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco certifications. Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, wireless systems, and VoIP technologies. Additional Microsoft certifications are a plus. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends is required. Compensation Salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and technical expertise.
