Job Description:

Our client is seeking a hands-on Lead DevSecOps Engineer to drive enterprise-wide modernization and secure software delivery initiatives within a large-scale industrial environment. This role will focus on consolidating source control and CI/CD platforms, building secure-by-default development practices, and partnering closely with engineering teams to strengthen DevSecOps maturity across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in DevOps and platform engineering, a strong background in CI/CD automation, and a passion for embedding security into the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead source control and CI/CD platform consolidation initiatives Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools Champion Secure SDLC practices by integrating security scanning and governance into development workflows Build scalable automation solutions and reusable deployment patterns Partner with development teams to improve engineering efficiency and security adoption Administer DevOps tooling, container platforms, and cloud-based infrastructure services Establish standards, branching strategies, and governance frameworks Contribute to long-term platform and security strategy, including emerging AI/ML security initiatives Qualifications 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering Proven experience with CI/CD platform migrations or repository consolidations Strong scripting and programming experience with technologies such as Node.js, C#, or Python Deep understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD automation Experience integrating security tooling such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secret detection into pipelines Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional technical teams Preferred Experience Experience migrating from legacy or mixed DevOps environments into GitHub-based ecosystems Familiarity with enterprise application environments and modern development frameworks Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation practices Interest or experience in AI/ML pipeline security Relevant cloud, DevOps, or security certifications
