St. Anthony of Padua K-8 Catholic School Clock Part Time Cross St. Anthony of Padua Parish - Lorain Fill 1100 Lorain, OH IT Support Technician St. Anthony of Padua K-8 Catholic School Lorain, Ohio Position Summary St. Anthony of Padua K-8 Catholic School is seeking a reliable, tech-savvy, and proactive IT Support Technician to support the school's technology needs. The IT Support Technician will play a vital role in managing school-wide technology assets and ensuring that classroom technology, devices, and user accounts are operational, secure, and ready to support teachers and students. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can independently manage daily technology support requests, maintain the student Chromebook fleet, administer user accounts, and resolve classroom hardware issues.

Location:
Lorain, Ohio Essential Responsibilities End-User & Device Support Respond to daily technical support requests from teachers, staff, and students. Install, update, and configure software across school-owned Windows 11 devices. Address everyday hardware and equipment issues promptly to minimize classroom downtime. Chromebook & iPad Fleet Management Perform ongoing maintenance, physical hardware repairs, and cleaning of student Chromebooks. Manage Chromebook enrollment, policy configurations, and factory resets. Manage the school's fleet of iPads using the Mosyle management platform, including device enrollment, app deployment, and configuration updates. Account & Network Administration Utilize the Google Admin Console to add, edit, or suspend user accounts. Perform password resets. Process and verify incoming network requests. Provide direct technical support for student and visitor Wi-Fi networks. Classroom Technology & Peripherals Troubleshoot routine connectivity and printing issues involving school copiers and printers. Resolve setup, display, and calibration issues with classroom projectors and interactive Smartboards. Qualifications & Requirements Practical experience troubleshooting Windows 11, ChromeOS, and iOS/iPadOS environments is required. Hands-on familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software, specifically Mosyle . Basic understanding of network access configurations and cloud-based user administration through Google Workspace . Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with school staff and young students. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage daily support requests efficiently. Data Security & Confidentiality Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and data security. Ability to appropriately handle privileged system access. Network passwords, administrative credentials, and sensitive school or student information must not be shared with unauthorized personnel. Completion of required Safe Environment/VIRTUS training. Preferred Skills The following skills and experience are preferred: Experience working with Windows Server environments. Familiarity with Active Directory management. Experience with or exposure to the Extreme Cloud Platform networking system. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Lift and move computer hardware or peripheral boxes weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Stand and walk for extended periods as needed.
