In this hands-on role, you'll provide technical support, install and maintain hardware and software, troubleshoot user issues, and help ensure hospital staff have the technology they need to deliver exceptional care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in information technology who is eager to learn and grow in a healthcare environment. What You'll Do Technical Support & End User Services Install, configure, and deploy computers, printers, scanners, and desktop software. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues for hospital staff. Respond to service desk requests and resolve or escalate technical issues promptly. Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of support requests within the service desk system. Hospital Information Systems Support Support and maintain Hospital Information Systems and related applications. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Order Communications (OC), Radiology Information System (RIS), and Image Management System (IMS) applications. Assist with daily operation of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), mainframe, and specialty network servers. Support hospital telecommunications systems and related technologies. User Training & Documentation Train employees on hardware, software, and hospital applications. Create and maintain user guides, procedures, and technical documentation. Partner with users to identify workflow challenges and develop practical solutions. IT Operations & Compliance Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation supporting critical hospital systems. Cross-train as an Information Services Analyst to support departmental operations. Protect confidential information by maintaining HIPAA compliance and following organizational security policies. Demonstrated interest in information technology and willingness to learn new systems and applications. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational security requirements. Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Technical coursework, certifications, or formal IT training. Experience providing technical support or customer service in a professional environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking concepts. Experience working in a hospital, healthcare organization, or other regulated environment.
