•: $120,000-$124,500 This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary Position Overview The IT/IA Specialist II provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within SAPs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including HQ Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts. Key Responsibilities System Administration and Operations Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems. Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and required system documentation. Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests. Perform hardware and software system configurations, upgrades, and modifications. Perform system and network appliance patching activities. Perform Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) system administration, scheduling, and configuration. Perform account creations, changes, and deletions across multiple authorization boundaries. Provide external information system client support. Provide Government-issued laptop support. Perform Help Desk and troubleshooting activities. Cybersecurity and Authorization Review, prepare, and update authorization packages. Notify the customer of changes that may affect authorization accreditation. Conduct the cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection checklist. Review and provide technical and cybersecurity coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that make up the authorization package. Identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures. Ensure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Security and Account Management Assist in media control and accountability activities. Perform COMSEC account and equipment management activities. Qualifications Clearance TS/SCI clearance [Required]. Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required]. Certifications IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification [Required]. Experience 5-7 years of related experience [Required]. Prior experience in roles such as System/Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance Specialist [Required]. SAP experience [Required]. Location Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
