job summary: Seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware/software while delivering exceptional service to end users. Ideal candidates will have desktop support experience, strong communication skills, and a reputation for reliability, responsiveness, and problem-solving.

Bartlesville, Oklahoma job type: Contract salary: $19 - 24 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Job Responsibilities Provide onsite desktop and laptop support for end users in a manufacturing environmentInstall, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and laptopsSupport HP printers, including setup, troubleshooting, monitoring, and toner managementTroubleshoot and support workforce time clock systems and related hardwareDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity issuesReceive, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests through the ticketing systemPerform workstation deployments, upgrades, moves, adds, and changesMaintain inventory of IT equipment, peripherals, and consumablesEscalate complex issues as appropriate and follow through to resolutionDocument troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activitiesBuild positive working relationships with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service qualifications: Required Qualifications 2+ years of desktop support, technical support, or IT support experience Experience supporting Windows desktop and laptop environments Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and peripherals Experience working within a ticketing or IT service management system Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and follow-through Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HP printer environments Experience supporting workforce time clock systems Experience in manufacturing, chemical, refinery, industrial, or plant environments Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services Experience with hardware deployments, asset management, and inventory control
