We provide managed IT services to small and midsized businesses, which means this position offers considerably more variety than a traditional internal help desk role. You'll support users directly, troubleshoot business technology, work onsite with local clients, and take part in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of their IT environments. The work includes Microsoft 365, Windows systems, networking, backups, security tools, equipment deployments, and technical projects. We're looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in IT support and wants to continue developing into a capable, well-rounded technician. What You'll Do Provide remote and onsite technical support to our clients Troubleshoot Windows computers, applications, printers, email, and connectivity issues Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 accounts and services Configure and deploy computers and other client equipment Troubleshoot common network, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, switch, and firewall issues Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory, backups, patching, monitoring, and system maintenance Participate in upgrades, migrations, deployments, and client projects Investigate system alerts and recurring technical issues Maintain accurate ticket notes and client documentation Work with other technicians and vendors on more complex technical problems What We're Looking For We'd like to find someone with professional IT support experience and practical knowledge in several of these areas: Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 Active Directory and Windows Server TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi Firewalls and managed switches Computer hardware and workstation deployment Backup and endpoint security systems Remote monitoring and management tools IT ticketing systems MSP experience is helpful but not required. More importantly, you should be able to troubleshoot methodically, communicate comfortably with clients, document your work clearly, and take responsibility for seeing assigned work through to completion. What You'll Get Cadence is a small company, so technicians are not confined to a narrow specialty. You'll work across multiple client environments and gain hands-on experience with systems, networking, Microsoft cloud services, security, infrastructure, and project work. You'll have experienced technical staff available when you encounter unfamiliar or complex problems, while having room to take on more responsibility as your skills grow.

Full-Time, some weekends and evenings when needed Work environment: Office, remote client support, and onsite client visits throughout the Eugene/Springfield area Oregon Driver's License and reliable transportation is required for local client visits. We prefer candidates who already live in the Eugene/Springfield area, although relocation assistance may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
