Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer focused Technical Services Representative to join our HelpDesk team. It's a fast-paced, ever-changing role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping others. The right candidate thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and enjoys solving problems for people across departments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
Answer calls for support during the duration of the shift Assist customers with troubleshooting hardware/software for a variety of systems Document and track all support requests through ticketing systems Follow up with customers when needed to verify all reported issues are resolved On-Site Support (Vehicle required): Repair/replace equipment on-site when required Install and configure devices when needed Preform regular preventative maintenance and PCI checks Complete upgrades to both POS and back-office systems
POS & Back-Office Support:
Troubleshoot and identify issues related to the POS & back-office systems Install, upgrade, and maintain all equipment related to the POS & back-office systems Answer calls related to the functionality and features of the systems Provide minor training where needed
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Assist various departments in ongoing tasks Backup Courier services provided when needed Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Inventory to identify and resolve issues
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years' experience in customer service; convenience experience a plus Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation Current driver's license and insurance required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Ability to work alone overnight
