Job Summary:
What you'll do: The Field Support Technician III (FST III) role is responsible for the implementation, installation, service, support, training, and supervisory leader of Automation & Robotic Systems for our clients in highly diverse industries. An FST III's primary responsibility will be to ensure new system installations are performed successfully. This will require a 'hands-on' application of strong mechanical, electrical and PC knowledge and skills. Additionally, an. Additional details about what you will be doing includes: Primary technical lead for on-site installation, repair, and training for Automation, including Robotics, Vision, and Motion Control. Knowledge of electrical control systems and ability to read schematics, diagrams, and drawings. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform on-site fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting work. Ability to train & develop Field Support Technicians. Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to challenging work schedules and business demands. Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, averaging 10% - 30% travel time. Supporting the manufacturing floor during non-travel times. Why join us? Qualifications/Experience:
Proven history of troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment. Proven history of successful customer interaction and providing high levels of customer service. ERP Experience, SAP preferred. High School Diploma, or equivalency, required.
